What is Montessori?
Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the highly trained teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.
Why Montessori?
The philosophy, values, and ideals upon which Montessori education is based, are not only compatible with Islam, but in fact, exquisitely harmonious. When exercised in tandem, the resulting synthesis is an experiential environment of extraordinary depth and potency. This environment is exceptionally conducive to the cultivation of a child's spiritual and intellectual development during the earliest and most important years of life. Montessori Education enjoys wide acceptance across the United States and around the world.
Ministars Program
Designed for children 3 - 6 years old. Ministars has both a half day program as well as a full day program 5 days a week. Using Montessori, our goal is to interactively teach kids leadership, social skills, and Islamic values.
